Location: Calder Holmes Park
Join us for a relaxing afternoon in the park – swings, a picnic, ball games and perhaps a short pushchair friendly walk to see the canal boats. Everyone welcome – don’t worry if you haven’t been to a family event at the centre before. No need to confirm you are coming, just turn up on the day with a picnic lunch (and, if any sign of rain, some waterproofs!). Meet 12pm to 12.30pm on the grass in front of the café in Calder Holmes Park. The park is very easy to find, it’s right next to Hebden Bridge train station and there are regular trains from Leeds.
