We are delighted to offer an evening of ritual – with the distinct possibility of unveiling the new shrine in a unique ceremony: an enactment of entering the ritual space of practice.

The evening will unusually begin at 5.45 with a shared meal. Please bring vegetarian/vegan food to share.

We will commence the ritual at 7pm prompt, using the image of a Mandala – entering into this mandala through fire (not literally!), the vajra of determination, and the lotus petals of purity: finally to arrive in the presence of the Buddha.

All are very welcome. We are planning to have a regular Great Sangha Night to emulate the monks and nuns ‘attending in large numbers’. There is great benefits in gathering the sangha – to see friends and practice together: to evoke a sense of unity through practice of the Dharma to be and do Good in the world. It’ll also be fun!
