Beginners Course: VISION AND TRANSFORMATION
Buddhism for the head and the heart. Buddhism offers us an inspiring vision of what it means to be a human being, but it doesn’t stop there. It also gives us ways to transform our emotions – and our life – in the light of this vision. This course offers a lively introduction to the Eightfold Path, from the first teachings given by the Buddha, with an emphasis on simple experiential exercises that create positive emotion and build connections between people.
This six-week course designed for people relatively new to meditation or Buddhism, who wish to try more. It is open to all (over 18). It is a great follow-on course for those who have done some meditation already or our Radical Dharma or any other Newcomers courses. However, if you haven’t, don’t worry as it is also self-contained and a good stand-alone course in itself offering both meditation and different Buddhist themes.
This course runs on a donation basis, and we suggest a donation of £60 for the whole course, but we want it to be available to everyone regardless of income, so just come along and give what you can, if you can.
Every Tuesday evening, from 7pm to 9pm for 6 weeks.
