“Courageous Communication”
Starting from The Abhaya Sutta (MN58) we will look at what “courageous communication” might be. In the afternoon we’ll meet two of the Wisdom Buddhas; Mamaki and Pandaravashini. Can we speak freely to them and be receptive to their Wisdom? We’ll finish up with a Puja to Amoghasiddhi, Buddha of compassionate accomplishment.
Led by Hridayavaca, Nagakusala and Bertie
Who is it for: Anyone who considers themselves to be Buddhist and gender diverse. “Gender Diverse” is an umbrella term to describe a variety of experiences someone may have in respect of their gender identity, expression, or understanding where it does not conform to the norms and stereotypes others expect.
Participants need to have a regular meditation practice and be open to Triratna’s presentation of the Dharma. The day is suitable for anyone comfortable with unguided meditation. No need to book, just turn up – there will be a dana appeal to cover costs. Bring vegetarian lunch to share.
